Youth investment

We believe in long-term change– change that sustains across and resonates with future generations. That’s why we invest in youth– the next generation of Collierville’s leaders. 

By engaging and mobilizing students, CCJ aims to close the generational gap between Collierville’s current town officials and our town’s youngest and most diverse demographic. Collierville’s Gen Z citizens have been the most outspoken supporters of CCJ’s campaign to remove Confederate monuments and establish a DEI town commission. In addition to training youth in community organizing, CCJ awards annual scholarships to Collierville High School students to attend Leadership Collierville.
